Can you hear me? I feel so far away. I wish I could talk to you, it’s been all day.

The night’s too short and the day’s too long and it’s all just the same old song.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s all worth all my time and pain, but from you I can’t refrain.

But then I see your smile and suddenly it’s all worthwhile.

And that’s when I’m sure, and all my doubts are just a blur.

You’re the best I could’ve ever asked for. I could’ve searched from shore to shore,

and wouldn’t find anyone as loving and kind.

I know you’d do anything for me, whatever it may be.

Whenever I’m down, you do whatever it takes to wipe away my frown.

I know you’d never do anything to hurt me, even though we may not always agree.

All the things for me that you do, I hope you know, I’d do the same for you.

There aren’t many as sweet as you, and this I’ve found to be true.

I cannot hide how happy you make me feel inside.
